Yes, I've already checked around, but the game is only in japanese, as you said. However, I've got a program that works okay, although it's meant to be used for mandarin. Pimsleur is working pretty well, I must say! I've listened to the first two and now I'm walking around at home saying things like "Nei sik m sik teng ying man-a?" which means can you understand english? Haha, I'm driving my family crazy ^^ Thanks for the tip, really useful!

I did as you said and downloaded Pimsleur, but with cantonese instead. Hehe, I couldn't resist choosing the cantonese one instead of the one in mandarin :9 After all, cantonse is the language I want to learn the most :D I started watching the first one, but as you said, it takes a lot of time. However, it's VERY useful! Great tip ;) Just one bad thing, and that is that you can't see the actual words, only hear them. But maybe you can guess some how they are written.

the pimsleur is a soundbook... its only for learning how to talk, for writing you must find another program. I use a game to learn how to write, but i dont think you can find the game i play in chinese(in other words; its only in japanese)

Aha, then I understand. Well, yes I understand some norwegian too. As you said, they're very similiar ;) How is it going with your japanese? How much have you learned? And how do you learn it? I try to learn as much chinese I can by myself, so it would help with some tips ;)

I dont know mouch about chinese, but to learn how to speak japanese I use Pimsleurs Japanese. And for writing i play a game called "knickles in chinaland" (if you have ever played pokemon or zelda as young you shuld be able to figure this out in about 1 sec. ^^)
You can check if Pimsleur comes in chinese as well, i know they have many languages. Download Pimsleur with bittorent!

Pimsleur is great for learning languages! its easy and informative... and you learn vocabulary, gramar and rules. The only minus is the time it takes to go through everything. Each soundclip is on ca. 30 min. and you have to listen to the same clip several times ifyou want to get a good result

hope this tips will help you ^^

Hi there! I just felt that I had to leave a comment, for many reasons. First, Wow, you're from Norway! Haha, I thought your name looked a little nordic. I myself am from Sweden :) Also, I just had to ask you what languages you speak. I'm crazy about languages myself ;)
